EHS Pilates: A Legacy of Strength and Community

Meet Tracey Sylvester and team, the powerhouse behind EHS Pilates in San Francisco's Mission District!

Founded in 1991 by Ellie Herman, a world-renowned Master Instructor and Author, EHS Pilates has been a fitness haven for over three decades. Tracey took the reins in 2016, steering the studio to new heights of success.

In 2007, Tracey and Nancy Myers acquired the studio, renaming it Energy Health Strength (EHS) while proudly upholding Ellie Herman's legacy.  The studio quickly became the largest Balanced Body Equipment Showroom in the Bay Area, showcasing generations of top-notch equipment.

Fast forward to 2019, and EHS was honored with San Francisco Legacy Business status, recognizing its significant impact on the Mission neighborhood's history and culture.  This is a testament to EHS's commitment to preserving its historical name and essential business operations.

In the face of the global pandemic, EHS showcased resilience, swiftly transitioning to a Virtual Studio Platform to continue serving its community.  With safety as a top priority, EHS has joyfully reopened its doors, welcoming clients back to the legacy that is EHS Pilates.

Here's to Tracey Sylvester and EHS Pilates, a legacy business rooted in strength, community, and the vibrant history of San Francisco's Mission District!
